Halloween Festivities!!!

This year we decided to be more festive and go to an actual pumpkin patch instead of getting our pumpkins at the grocery store. The boys loved it.

They loved riding in the wheelbarrow.

Bennett wanted to take every pumpkin home. He kept trying to pick them all up and then would say "Heavy".

What good helpers I have!

Jax was very very concerned about the broken pumpkins that were on the ground. He kept finding them and saying "Uh Oh a mess", he is such a clean freak!

Trying to get a cute picture of them together was impossible. Hence the blurry faces.

Making our Pumpkins into Jack-O-Lanterns

Bennett loved the carving tools.

Jax was so proud of his and daddy's work.

Bennett did not like the slime in the pumpkins.

He did however decide he liked the seeds and decided they make a delicious treat.

Trying to get a picture of the finished product FAILED!!

I know what a pretty expression I have.

Bennett giving his pumpkin a big fat kiss!

Our awesome jello worms!! Seriously they looked disgusting!

This past weekend we had a weekend getaway to St. George. We rented a condo there. It was such a fun trip, the weather was beautiful. It was still even warm enough to go swimming outside. The boys had so much fun playing in the pool.

While there we also went to Snow Canyon and played at the sand dunes and climbed on the rocks.

Imagine that my messy little boys loved the sand. They had sand everywhere.

We went to Zions and hiked a little. It is so beautiful there. I love the red rocks. Jax was really excited because he saw several deer (or deers as he calls them), lizards and horses.

Bennett just liked picking up all the rocks and throwing them.

We had so much fun. I needed a vacation very badly. I am sad to say this did not completely fix me need for a vacation, I now just really want to go back. I love St. George, the weather, and the palm trees. I would absolutely love to live down there one day, I just have to convince a few people to follow me. Maybe one day!!!

Bennett's Curls

I love Bennett's hair. Since he was just a few months old, Bennett has had curls all along the sides of his head. I feel like that is one genetic I passed on. Because of this love, I have had a hard hard time letting go and getting his hair cut. His hair was getting so so long.

Bennett's Mowhawk. Isn't he awesome!!!

Well I finally broke down. His mullet was getting a little to long. We finally took him to get his first haircut.

He did really well. He sat there very patiently with a very concerned face.

I insisted that the hairstylist only trim his hair and try and leave the curls on the sides.

This is the final product. I was very sad and a little angry his curls were gone. Luckily within a few days they returned. He is such a handsome little man!

My Future ROCKSTAR!!

Jax loves to sing. He loves to be the center of attention. For Jax's birthday his grandma and grandpa Lowry bought him a microphone. He loves it. He will dance around the house singing. It is pretty funny to watch.

Jax also loves shoes. He loves to raid my closet and pull out all of my shoes.

Nothing like dancing in high heels.

Inaffective Discipline

So to say that Jax has hit the terrible 2's is an understatement. In a matter of weeks this boy went from so so sweet and innocent to kinda naughty. Needless to say Jax has spent a lot of time in timeout. Here are some pictures...

I think he is definitely learning his lesson here. I am sure he will never do that again. There is nothing like sleeping in timeout.

It was too funny. He only goes to timeout for 2 minutes, but he managed to fall asleep.
