Big Change of Events!!

Life like always brings big changes! Much to our surprise after adopting Jax we were able to get pregnant. Who knew that the best and most successful fertility treatment out there was adoption. So yes, baby number 2 is well on its way. I am currently 20 weeks with a due date of June 14. There are many emotions that are going through both Gary and I including: anxiety, stress and excitement. Our arms are going to be very full and life is going to get very busy. We are still very excited!!!

We had our ultrasound last week and here are the results...

Face profile!!

Hands and feet. The baby was very low and the ultrasound tech says that the baby's feet are right on my bladder (yeah I could have told her that!)

And yes it is a BOY!!! Boys are going to rule the house!
I am very excited for Jax, I think it will be better to have 2 boys being that close, plus I have most of the stuff already. I must say though I am a little sad to still not have a shopping and crafting buddy. I am certain that as soon as Gary is able to he is going to convince both of them that hunting and fishing are the way to go!
I must say it is kind of strange to think there is something growing inside me, it is even more strange to feel him moving and kicking my bladder!!

Randomness

Jax is now 4 months old (crazy). He is now eating rice cereal (ummm yummm). I have a super funny video, but for some reason I can not get it to upload, so pictures will just have to do. Here are the pictures from his first feeding.

He was so funny, he would clamp him mouth shut! Lets just say we both have a lot to learn when it comes to feeding time.

When we managed to get some in him mouth he would spit it right back out. I think more ended up on his face and bib then in his tummy.

Jax is such a goof. He is a super smiley and giggly baby.

I thought this was so stinkin cute. Gary was getting Jax ready for church and was combing his hair. As you can see his little tummy is not so little any more. I love his chubs!!!

Jax is still such a good sleeper and still loves his blankets. We still have to swaddle him for him to sleep good. I think we will be swaddling him till he is ten, we will definitely need to get some bigger blankets!!!

Merry Christmas

As much as Gary hates putting up lights, her did an amazing job. I think by far our lights were the prettiest in the neighborhood (no bias I promise)!!

Our Christmas Tree

Our yearly gingerbread house. I must say we did a dang good job!!

Our yearly Christmas Eve Pajama Picture. This was quite the task getting all of us together and sitting before the timmer on the camera went off. And everyone is looking besides Toby!

Jax did not understand the whole opening thing. He did decide he liked his new bumbo chair! Hopefully next year he will get a bit more excited.

Opening Presents!!

New clothes!

We put treats in the dogs presents so they will open them up. We weren't paying attention to Toby, when we looked under the chair and he had drug out his own present and had already opened it. What a sneaky dog!!

Mya loves her toys. I think she has already destroyed 2 of them. It is so fun to find a stuffed animal stuffing trail where ever she goes.

Jax with his cousin Kendie in his new Christmas outfit. He looked so handsome. He was the best looking boy at church!!

5 Whole Years

So I am way behind on posting!! We hit the big 5 year anniversary Dec 18. Gary planned an amazing day. It was so nice being able to hang out with him all day.
1st we started out with a yummy breakfast at IHOP
2nd we went to the Living Planet Aquarium

Jax got to come along to the aquarium. He loved looking at all of the lights in each of the aquariums.

The aquarium was pretty neat. I must say I am pretty excited for them to get the penguin exhibit.
3rd we dropped Jax off at my sisters and went to the movie "Blindside". This movie was really good and I would recommend it to all.
Lastly we got on tracks and went downtown. We went to the restaurant "The Melting Pot". Neither of us had ever been to a fondue restaurant. The food was amazing and we left feeling very full.
It was such a great day! I am definitely married to a wonderful man. He is such a great husband and dad. He spoils me rotten. Gary I love you!!!
